Frame module design transformer substations

A modular frame transformer substation is designed for receiving medium voltage and 50 Hz frequency three-phase electricity, transforming it to low voltage electricity and distributing to consumers. The modular transit transformer substation complies with the requirements of IEC 62271-202 and is manufactured in accordance with the company standard harmonized with AB ESO. The modular frame transformer substation consists of separate modules. The size and quantity of the modules can be easily changed, so this type of the transformer substation can be adapted and manufactured for complex design solutions. The frame of the modular transformer substation to which the roof, wall and floor panels are attached is made of hot-dip galvanized square steel pipes that meet the requirements of LST EN 10210. The self-weight, snow and wind loads of the structures were estimated. The load-bearing steel structures are selected in accordance with the requirements of LST EN 1993-1-1. Steel load-bearing structures are coated with hot-dip galvanized or fire-retardant paint in accordance with the requirements of STR 2.01.04. A paint coating and measurement report from GTC is provided. The modular frame transformer substation is transported to the object in separate modules, which are assembled together on site on the prepared foundations.

Other transformer substations

Concrete transformer substations are designed for receiving medium voltage and 50 Hz frequency three-phase electricity, transforming it to low voltage electricity and distributing to consumers. The housing of the transformer substation is constructed from standard 100 mm thick reinforced concrete slabs covered with a decorative chippings or smooth texture. The individual finishing is selected according to the customer’s wishes. The reinforced concrete or galvanized sheet steel roof construction is removable.
